We are currently looking for an experienced Master Marine Technician to join our growing service department. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled technician who takes pride in diagnosing complex problems, delivering quality workmanship, and working with top-tier marine equipment.

What You’ll Work OnOur technicians work on a wide variety of systems, including:
- Outboard engine diagnostics & repairs
- New engine rigging & repower installations
- Advanced marine electronics installations
- Custom boat rigging & dash retrofits
- Electrical systems & charging diagnostics
- GPS, radar, sonar, VHF, and stereo systems
- Trim tabs & hydraulic systems
- Underwater lighting & accessory installs
- Trailer systems & rigging
- SeaKeeper Ride installations
- Sea trials & performance diagnostics
- Diagnose and repair marine engines, electrical systems, and onboard equipment
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Rig and install new outboard engines and repower packages
- Install marine electronics and navigation systems
- Perform custom rigging and dash retrofits
- Conduct sea trials to verify repairs and performance
- Launch and recover vessels
- Complete service jobs within dealership standards
- Perform warranty work per manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate findings clearly with Service Advisors
- Maintain tools, equipment, and shop standards
- Assist team members with complex troubleshooting when needed
We’re seeking technicians with strong diagnostic ability and real-world marine experience.
Required:
- 3 years marine technician experience (Master level preferred)
- Strong knowledge of marine DC electrical systems
- Experience with outboard engines & repower projects
- Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Ability to read technical manuals & wiring diagrams
- Experience with marine electronics installation
- Valid driver’s license with clean record
- Ability to tow vessels up to 35 ft
- Ability to launch and recover vessels
- Must provide personal technician tools
- Ability to pass background check & drug screening
Preferred (Highly Desired):
- Manufacturer certifications (Mercury, Yamaha, Honda, etc.)
- Experience with advanced electronics & marine networking
- Experience with SeaKeeper Ride or similar systems
- Strong rigging and boat-building experience
- $60,000 – $90,000 depending on experience
