We are currently looking for a System Planning Manager for our Houston, TX or Owensboro, KY office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Manager of System Planning leads the team responsible for hydraulic analysis for existing asset capacity and requests for new firm service across all natural gas transportation and storage assets. This individual leads the design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the enterprise contract model that supports firm capacity sales, ensuring the model accurately reflects system capabilities, constraints and operating assumptions across all assets. This role also interacts heavily with commercial teams to provide clear and timely insights into available capacity and system limitations. Annual filings with FERC and System Planning integration with Commercial systems are also responsibilities of this role, as well as leading data driven, process improvement initiatives for identifying latent capacity, advancing hydraulic modeling tools and streamlining RFS approvals.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
- System Planning experience including pipeline simulation expertise
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills to interact cross-functionally
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- 5 or more years of engineering experience, including energy industry
- Data analytics and data science aptitude
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or comparable technical field
