We are currently looking for a Plant Operator/ Sr. Plant Operator for our Ringgold, LA office.

Position Description
Duties include operating the compressor station, maintianing auxillary equipment, valve inspections, atmoshperic corrosion montitoring, tank inspections, facility yard maintenance, gas sampling, and be responsible for maintaining all tools and equipment assigned to this position for the Bistineau Compressor Station and all related facilities. Required to comply with all DOT, OSHA and Environmental rules and regulations. You will be required to work a rotating 12 hour a day shift. Responsibilities also include compliance documentation for assigned area and the successful completion of all the Operator Qualification tasks assigned specifically for this position. Be self-motivated, able to routinely work shift work, both day and night shift, capable of working alone after hours, weekends, and holidays, and with minimal supervision. This role will be located at our Bistineau Compressor Station facility located near Ringgold, La. You occasionally may be required to assist other areas if needed. Successful candidate will be required to live within 30 miles from the Bistineau Compressor Station facility. Successful candidate will be required to complete Core Blocks in Safety, Enviornmental and Company policies and procedures. Successful candidate will be expected to have achieved a level of compentance and ability to be able to operate the station alone, and with no assistance, in a maximum of 60 days after assuming this position.

Required Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

• More than 3 years of experience in compressor station and / or pipeline operating systems
• DOT 192 and DOT 195 knowledge and experience in compliance
• Basic understanding of gas compression systems and dehydration equipment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft programs
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacturers guidelines
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet to transfer tools and equipment
• Ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns
• Ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments
• Valid driver license with clean driving record

Preferred Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

• 5 or more years of experience with compression equipment operation and maintenance
• 5 or more years of experience with dehydration equipment including dry bed desiccant and glycol plants
• Previous electrical and instrumentation experience

Required Education

• High School Diploma / Equivalent

Preferred Education

• Associate / Technical Degree
