We are currently looking for an Intern- Marketing & Optimization for our Houston,TX office.
Position Description
- Document our current marketing strategy for how we sell open transport and storage capacity (short-term vs long-term). Explore other approaches to that strategy. Examine the pros and cons of current versus alternate approaches and make a recommendation.
- Participate in the development of key skills within the Marketing & Optimization Desk: relationship building with our Marketers/Banks/Hedge Funds customer group, negotiations, strategic thinking, financial analysis, gathering of market intelligence from customer peers and their leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written collaboration skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and modeling capability
- Ability to work effectively with peers, customers and leadership
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines under constantly changing priorities
- Proficient at use of Power BI
- Minimum, sophomore in technical, business or finance Bachelor of Science program
