We are currently looking for a Lead Rep/ Manager/ Director- Marketing and Trading to work in our Houston, TX office.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The role will manage all commercial ethane actively and will be the successor to the current trader. Forecast ethane needs, buy and sell to manage inventory, interface with customers and key business partners, perform commercial and economic analysis, collaborate with internal groups on day-to-day business.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills
Ability to understand contract details and resulting business impacts
Demonstrates understanding of energy market fundamentals and economics, including commodity pricing, basin market fundamentals and competitor strategies and actions
Knowledge of all components of a deal structure, including risks and deal value
Pervious commercial experience with proficiency in economics, marketing practices and contracting
Understanding of the energy industry
Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, finance, or relevant field and minimum 7 years’ commercial experience
