About BOAR

BOAR is a leadership and business development organization serving CEOs, business owners, and emerging leaders through mastermind groups, executive coaching, and year-long leadership development programs (NextGen Evolution, NextGen Level Up, BOAR Room, specialty trainings, and events).

We are a small, fast-moving, high-impact team that values integrity, accountability, excellence, and heart-centered leadership.

Position Summary

The Director of Operations is responsible for turning BOAR’s strategic vision into organized, repeatable, and scalable execution.

This role oversees day-to-day operations, supports the CEO and executive coaches, and ensures that BOAR programs, events, and internal systems run smoothly. The ideal candidate is a builder: someone who loves process, details, systems, and people, and who can manage many moving parts without losing sight of the big picture.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Leadership & Systems

  • Design, document, and continuously improve BOAR’s core operational processes (member onboarding, program delivery, billing, evaluations, renewals, etc.).
  • Implement and manage tools/technology (CRM, project management, email platforms, scheduling tools) to streamline operations.
  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists for recurring programs, events, and administrative workflows.
  • Track and report key operational metrics (attendance, renewals, program completion, promotions, client satisfaction, etc.).

2. Program & Event Operations

  • Oversee logistics for all BOAR programs (NextGen Evolution, NextGen Level Up, BOAR Room, speakers, special trainings, etc.).
  • Coordinate calendars, venues, contracts, catering, room setup, materials, A/V, and post-session follow-up.
  • Ensure participant materials (workbooks, handouts, surveys, certificates, etc.) are prepared and delivered on time and on brand.
  • Partner with executive coaches and facilitators to ensure they have everything needed to deliver a high-quality experience.

3. Member & Client Experience

  • Support a best-in-class experience for BOAR members, sponsors, and corporate clients.
  • Oversee communication touchpoints: reminders, follow-ups, surveys, and renewal communications.
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and professionally, acting as an operations point of contact for members and partners.
  • Help maintain accurate records of member status, program participation, and engagement.

4. Financial & Administrative Support

  • Support the CEO and accountant with billing, invoicing, accounts receivable tracking, and basic financial reporting.
  • Assist with contracts, proposals, and documentation for corporate clients and sponsors.
  • Help prepare operational reports for partner/leadership meetings (financial snapshots, utilization, capacity, etc.).

5. Team Coordination & Internal Communication

  • Coordinate timelines and responsibilities across the CEO, executive coaches, facilitators, and support staff.
  • Lead internal operations meetings and follow-up on action items.
  • Ensure critical deadlines are met (marketing timelines, enrollment deadlines, program launch dates, etc.).
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and coordination of executive coaches and contractors as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
  • 3–5 years of experience in operations, program management, project management, or business administration.
  • Experience in a small business, professional services, education/training, or membership-based organization is a strong plus.
  • Experience supporting events, workshops, or training programs is highly desirable.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong project management skills – able to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple initiatives and deadlines.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail; loves checklists, systems, and follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of communicating clearly with CEOs, executives, and partners.
  • Tech-comfortable: able to quickly learn and manage tools such as CRM systems, project management software, Zoom, and email marketing platforms.
  • Basic financial acumen (reading simple financials, understanding budgets, monitoring invoicing and receivables).
  • Ability to anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and make sound operational decisions.
  • High degree of discretion and confidentiality when working with member/company information.

Personal Attributes

  • Alignment with BOAR’s values: integrity, growth, accountability, and service.
  • Comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.
  • Calm under pressure; steady and solutions-focused when things change or go sideways.
  • Naturally collaborative and willing to “roll up sleeves” and help wherever needed.

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time, salaried position.
  • Primarily weekday business hours, with some early morning or evening commitments for BOAR Room meetings, speaker sessions, and events.
  • Hybrid mix of remote work and in-person days in the Las Vegas area, plus on-site presence required at major events and program days.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $55,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Potential for performance-based bonuses or incentives (to be defined by BOAR leadership).
  • Additional benefits may include paid time off, professional development opportunities, attendance at leadership programs, and other perks as defined by BOAR.
