Description
Provide oversight and direction to Housemen while working side by side. Set-up and break-down various meeting rooms and Banquet events to include meal and corporate meeting set-ups. Work with Banquet Servers to ensure a seamless transition during Banquet “flips.”

Provide oversight and direction to Housemen while working side by side. Set-up and break-down various meeting rooms and Banquet events to include meal and corporate meeting set-ups. Work with Banquet Servers to ensure a seamless transition during Banquet “flips.”
Essential Job Functions Include
- Organize daily task lists for housemen team.
- Check-in housemen and communicate any attendance issues to the manager.
- Drive productivity of housemen team
- Maintain radio contact with other housemen and banquet manager.
- Receive and follow event order diagrams from Banquet Managers/Director of Banquets and set rooms accordingly. Execute changes given by Manager.
- Vacuum and dust all meeting and conference spaces as needed after break-down.
- Return all tables, chairs, etc. to specifically designated storage areas.
- Break-down conference rooms not in use.
- Refresh meeting spaces when directed by management.
- Report any maintenance problems or changes to Banquet Managers/Director of Banquets.
- Organize and maintain storage closets and equipment rooms to include linens, tables, etc.
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Hospitality or hotel management training preferred.
- 2–4 years of banquet, event setup, or hospitality experience required.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Experience working in hotels, conference centers, or large event venues is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with banquet event orders (BEOs) and event diagrams.
