We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support to join our Corporate Engineering Production Services team with focus on Compliance Engineering. This role is in Pittsburg, PA
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Knowledge of advanced Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL)
- Experience using pre-built dashboards/add-ons in Splunk and ability to customize Splunk dashboards and search queries.
- Ability to develop dashboards and alerting using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk & MoogSoft to proactively monitor and mitigate incidents and reduce resolution times.
- Understand the HR, Legal and Audit processes within the bank.
- Understand Code source control and possess sound knowledge in Git workflow for CI/CD Pipelines.
- Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for all incidents, problems and changes related to applications specific to the line of business.
- Lead investigations and resolutions for incidents and engage the required groups including Infrastructure Support and Application Development teams as needed.
- Work on root cause analysis and problem management to address underlying technical issues.
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and have a production support discipline.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/computer engineering (based on a BS or MS in CS, or equivalent experience)
- Strong Analytical Skills, Able to comprehend and dissect a problem.
- 6-8 years of diverse experience in information technology required
- Must have strong deductive reasoning & diagnostic problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, fast learner, willing to go outside of comfort zone and learn new things.
- Experience with IT automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.
- Exposure to Agile development processes and tools such as Confluence, JIRA, and Kanban.
- Recommend technical solutions for application problems.
- Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy.
- Some experience with problem management or collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT and Service Now.
- Well versed in managing incident calls during outages and taking it to closure with root cause determination.
- Responsible for answering client inquiries (general support, some technical and general business analysis)
