Job Summary:
This role serves as a Scrum Master supporting Agile software delivery teams. The Scrum Master will guide the team on Agile/Scrum practices, foster continuous improvement, support sprint planning and execution, and remove impediments to ensure efficient and aligned delivery. This role emphasizes servant leadership, coaching, facilitation, and building a collaborative, transparent team environment.
This position is for our Pittsburgh, PA office and a hybrid schedule - 4 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
- Team Coaching & Agile Guidance: Guide teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles and practices to support effective delivery.
- Facilitation: Lead daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
- Continuous Improvement: Assess Scrum maturity levels and drive incremental improvements at a sustainable pace.
- Impediment Removal: Identify and remove obstacles that block progress, or guide the team to remove them.
- Communication & Collaboration: Promote transparency by supporting clear communication and information flow across teams and leadership.
- Product Owner Support: Assist in backlog refinement and prioritization, ensuring clarity and alignment to delivery goals.
- Team Environment: Foster a safe, trusting environment focused on problem-solving, accountability, and collective ownership.
- Experience serving as a Scrum Master supporting an Agile software development team
- Strong facilitation, servant leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- Experience using Agile techniques such as User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, etc.
- Working knowledge of tools used by Agile teams (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Previous leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience
- Experience with Microsoft applications, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with additional Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP, Crystal, FDD, etc.)
- Knowledge of Agile patterns for handling workflow, retrospectives, burndowns, etc.
- Ability to support large-scale enterprise environments or Pods aligned to platform roadmaps
