Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. We’re seeking a future team member for the role Specialist, Fund/Client Accounting Representative, to join our Fund and Client IS Ops team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of fund accounting activities by applying deep knowledge in accounting principles and practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and enhance process efficiencies, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication.
- Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, thereby supporting the integrity of financial reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date records and documentation to support audits and regulatory reviews, showcasing meticulous attention to detail.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting best practices and process improvements to elevate service quality.
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate financial data processing.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, enabling efficient and precise financial operations.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are advantageous but not required.
