Job Summary:
This role supports enterprise software engineering initiatives with a focus on full-stack application development, system integration, and ongoing maintenance of critical technology platforms. The Senior Full-Stack Developer will design, build, test, and enhance applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies, while ensuring stability, security, and scalability across environments. This role requires strong hands-on coding skills, deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle, and the ability to collaborate effectively within an agile, fast-paced engineering organization.
This position is based in Lake Mary, FL and follows a hybrid schedule — 4 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development: Program well-designed, testable, efficient code using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Angular, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- End-to-End SDLC Ownership: Execute full lifecycle development including design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance.
- System Integration: Integrate software components into fully functional systems and ensure cross-platform interoperability.
- Maintenance & Enhancements: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications; ensure software remains current and high performing.
- Testing & Quality: Analyze requirements, develop automated tests (JUnit, Cucumber), and support verification and QA processes.
- Security & Compliance: Apply security and privacy principles into every stage of software development.
- Documentation: Develop flowcharts, diagrams, technical documentation, and solution layouts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, data teams, project managers, and business users to deliver elegant, scalable solutions.
- Team Collaboration & Code Reviews: Actively participate in code reviews, mentor peers, and promote best practices and reusable patterns.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify technical debt, recommend improvements, and contribute to elevating the team’s engineering standards.
- 7 years of experience in full-stack software development
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST, NoSQL, Angular, CSS, JSON, HTML, JavaScript
- Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases
- Familiarity with MQ, Kafka, and cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, or AWS)
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of application frameworks, containerization, and cross-platform interoperability
- Ability to review test plans, test data, and automated testing suites
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry
- Exposure to C#
