This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite). The position offers broad exposure across operational teams and front office functions, with a focus on security setup, data integrity, and exception management within a fast-paced financial services environment.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join a small, high-impact team supporting multiple investment management groups. This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA with a hybrid schedule (4 days onsite). The position offers broad exposure across operational teams and front office functions, with a focus on security setup, data integrity, and exception management within a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Security Master Data Management: Create and maintain security master records, including issuer data, ratings, accrual parameters, and reference data within systems such as BlackRock Aladdin
- Daily Operations & Reporting: Run and review daily exception reports, monitor dashboards, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies
- Research & Issue Resolution: Investigate data breaks, respond to ad-hoc front office inquiries, and resolve operational issues efficiently
- Workflow & Queue Management: Manage shared inbox requests, prioritize time-sensitive tasks, and handle high-volume workflows with accuracy
- Cross-Functional Support: Partner with front office, settlements, and operational teams to support trade lifecycle and security setup requests
- Data Accuracy & Compliance: Ensure high levels of data integrity, accuracy, and adherence to internal processes and standards
- 1 years of financial services experience (security master, operations, or similar)
- Foundational knowledge of financial instruments (e.g., equities, bonds, fixed income)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with shifting priorities
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience with BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, or Charles River OMS
- Exposure to fixed income products and fund accounting
- Intermediate to advanced Excel or Access skills
- Experience supporting front office or investment management teams
