We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Client Data Ecosystem Director to join our Data & Analytics team. This role is located in New York, NY.
The Director, Client Data Ecosystem will lead the client advisory program for Data Innovation within the Product & Innovation Hub, overseeing strategic co-development initiatives with clients and partners. This role is responsible for securing client commitment through our founding members program, managing RFPs and integration priorities, acquiring third-party content to fill data gaps, and driving the prioritization of internal platform and client use cases. The Director will play a key role in developing BNY’s global financial markets standard through a dynamic knowledge graph, leveraging structured and unstructured agents to ingest, profile, map, and monitor data.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base salary is only part of the total rewards package, which may include eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive award. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. - Provide expert consultation and guidance to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Founding Members Program Agreements
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements to secure client commitment for co-building solutions.
- Collaborate with legal and business teams to ensure agreements align with strategic objectives.
- RFPs & Integration Priorities
- Manage RFP processes with partners, ensuring alignment with BNY’s innovation goals.
- Lead integration initiatives, collaborating across functions to deliver seamless solutions.
- Prioritize integration projects based on business impact and client needs.
- Platform & Use Case Prioritization
- Evaluate and prioritize internal platform and client use cases for development.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap for the Data Product Innovation Hub’s initiatives.
- Knowledge Graph Development
- Oversee the creation and extension of a core knowledge graph mapping global financial markets.
- Utilize structured and unstructured agents to ingest, profile, map, and monitor data.
- Drive innovation in data architecture and product development.
- 12 years of experience
- Proven experience in client advisory, co-development, and partnership management.
- Strong background in drafting and negotiating agreements, managing RFPs, and leading integration projects.
- Expertise in data product innovation, knowledge graph development, and data architecture.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
