We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Director, POM Product Management to join our AI HUB team. This role is located in New York, NY.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Set and direct the enterprise AI enablement and adoption strategy, aligning AI platform capabilities and product strategy with company goals and measurable business outcomes.
- Own the roadmap for AI enablement programs, driving continuous improvements to the end‑user experience and adoption through sustained engagement, robust change management, and a federated champions network.
- Build and scale an AI upskilling program, including curated e‑learning content, hands‑on experimentation (e.g., labs and sandboxes), and innovation events (e.g., hackathons), tailored for both technical and business audiences.
- Establish clear KPIs and success metrics for AI adoption and value realization; develop executive reports and decision‑seeking materials, and provide strategic progress updates to senior leadership.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with department heads to integrate AI enablement initiatives into core business processes, ensuring alignment, change readiness, and operational sustainability.
- Champion responsible and ethical AI practices by partnering with risk, compliance, security, and legal teams to establish and operationalize guardrails, controls, and best practices.
- Monitor industry and technology practices in financial services and adjacent sectors; synthesize market intelligence to inform strategic planning, capability roadmaps, and executive recommendations
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
- 10-12 years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery with proven track record in defining winning product constructs and delivering a product roadmap
- Prior experience working in a financial industry preferred
- A balance of technical knowledge and business acumen with a proven track record in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams, and/or working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders and product development teams
- High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $136,500 and $275,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
