- Education: Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or CDA credential.
- Experience: Previous experience with preschool-aged children required; experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Acts 33/34 and FBI clearances
- Ability to complete 24 hours of annual in-service training.
- Assisting the PKC Teacher in planning and implementing activities aligned with PA Early Learning Standards and individual education programs (IEPs).
- Preparing instructional materials and maintaining classroom organization.
- Supporting children’s personal care needs and supervising during meals and activities.
- Communicating with parents and participating in family engagement activities.
- Collecting data to monitor student progress and reporting behavioral or health concerns.
- Attending staff meetings and professional development sessions.
