Housekeeping Attendant

Position Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and well-presented guest rooms and hotel public areas in accordance with hotel and Hilton brand standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and committed to providing a clean and welcoming environment for every guest.

Essential Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel and brand standards.
• Make beds, change linens, clean bathrooms, vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize guest rooms.
• Replenish towels, toiletries, and other guest-room amenities.
• Inspect rooms to ensure all areas are clean and properly prepared for guests.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, missing items, and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, housekeeping areas, and other assigned public areas.
• Properly use and care for cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company policies.
• Maintain professional and courteous behavior when interacting with guests and team members.
• Complete assigned rooms within the expected time while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with deep-cleaning projects, linen inventory, and other housekeeping assignments as directed.
• Work cooperatively with the Executive Housekeeper, Housekeeping Supervisor, Front Desk, and Maintenance teams.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help guests and coworkers.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect guest privacy.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting. The employee must be able to safely perform the physical requirements associated with cleaning and servicing hotel guest rooms.

Schedule

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on hotel occupancy and business needs.
