Job Overview
Join our construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will assist with various on-site tasks, ensuring that construction projects progress smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Your hands-on work will involve heavy lifting, operating power tools, and supporting skilled tradespeople in building durable structures. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers to facilitate tasks such as concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction
- Support rebar installation and concrete pumping to ensure structural integrity
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor required for site safety and project progression
- Aid in the installation of drywall, stucco, plastering, caulking, and other finishing work
- Follow all safety protocols related to construction workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license or must have realiable transportation
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and pouring techniques
- Knowledge of carpentry
- Experience with rebar installation, formwork construction, drywall installation, and renovation work is a plus
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction sites
- Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces

Pay: $15.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 45.0 per week
