Housekeeper
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and production environment. This role is heavily focused on continuous cleaning, sweeping, and removal of cardboard, stuffing, and debris to support our Peek-a-Boo operations. The appearance and cleanliness of our facility directly reflect our operational standards.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Continuously sweep warehouse and production floors throughout the shift to maintain cleanliness and prevent debris buildup
- Collect, break down, and dispose of cardboard boxes and packaging materials on an ongoing basis
- Monitor and clean up loose stuffing, fabric fibers, and related debris generated during production
- Remove trash, loose debris (including cardboard, stuffing, and packaging materials), and waste from all areas of the facility
- Maintain clear aisles, walkways, and workspaces at all times
- Mop floors and vacuum carpets as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures; restock supplies (e.g., soap, paper products)
- Wipe down windows, mirrors, and high-touch surfaces
- Monitor facility for cleanliness and proactively address accumulation of dust, dirt, cardboard, and fibers
- Transport waste, cardboard, and production debris to designated disposal and recycling areas
- Maintain exterior areas, including entrances and walkways, ensuring they are clean and free of debris
- Assist with general facility upkeep and report maintenance issues as needed
- Support overall operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment
Qualifications/Skills:
- Prior experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or warehouse cleaning roles preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks, including sweeping for extended periods
- Ability to frequently bend, lift, carry, and move cardboard, trash, and debris
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, active warehouse/production environment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe handling of cleaning materials preferred
- High school diploma preferred but not required
