Cycle Counter
The Cycle Counter position is responsible for continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on feet. The Cycle Counter researches all data available to resolve discrepancies and adheres to proper inventory control and procedures.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting, processing of material reports and transfers.
- Assist the Warehouse, Production, and Inventory, in locating materials.
- Complete paperwork, reflecting material cycle counts on a regular basis.
- Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Be able to use warehouse equipment (scissor lift) carefully and safely to complete tasks at hand.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to operate a scissor lift
- Ability to lift 50lbs without restriction
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company
