Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, with expertise in areas such as plastics injection molding, CNC programming, and lean manufacturing principles. This role is critical in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes that enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production and develop effective solutions.
- Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo for designing and modifying schematics and tooling.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve assembly line operations and robotics integration.
- Oversee the implementation of lean manufacturing techniques to minimize waste and maximize output.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the manufacturing process.
- Provide mechanical knowledge to support fabrication, welding, and tooling operations.
- Engage in project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
- Facilitate training for staff on new processes and technologies related to industrial equipment.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo) for design purposes.
- Knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T, and vision inspection systems.
- Experience with robotics programming and assembly line operations is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
