Job Description:
- Evening servers will also need to tend bar (pouring and serving alcoholic drinks)
- Greeting, engaging, and serving guests
- Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails and aperitifs (if applicable), suggesting courses, explaining menu items, and answering food preparation questions
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor
- Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated
- Keep the bar area cleaned and well stocked
- Restocking items consistently throughout shift
- Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints
- Maintain high sanitation standards throughout the area of responsibility, which will meet or exceed Federal, State, and Local standards
- Maintain control over food security through regular inventories, proper portioning, and correct lock up procedures and production methods
Job Requirements:
- Must have a current food handlers permit
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Previous restaurant service experience a plus
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds
