Job Description:
The Cost Analyst will be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and improving cost reporting systems to support project financial performance. This role involves regular collaboration with Finance and project teams, generating accurate cost metrics, identifying reporting issues, and contributing to process improvement initiatives. The position is based onsite at the Client's office in downtown Bartlesville.
Key Responsibilities
- Update cost reports on a semi-monthly basis and prepare detailed program cost metrics.
- Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis to the Finance department.
- Identify discrepancies, reporting errors, and data issues; drive improvements and streamline reporting processes.
- Create and manage SAP work orders, purchase requisitions, and related transactions.
- Utilize EcoSys or similar forecasting tools to support project cost planning and tracking.
- Collaborate with internal teams through MS Teams, Webex, and other remote communication platforms.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost analysis, project controls, or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP/accounting systems, with the ability to learn SAP quickly.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related Office applications.
- Ability to learn and work effectively in EcoSys (spreadsheet-style forecasting tool).
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with remote stakeholders.
- Must be available onsite at the Client's office in downtown Bartlesville.
- Required availability during key reporting business days (Days 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6).
