Responsibilities
- Perform water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation services with precision and care.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to dismantle, repair, or restore affected areas.
- Conduct cleaning tasks including carpet cleaning, surface cleaning, and debris removal.
- Assist with asbestos abatement procedures following safety protocols and industry standards.
- Operate construction equipment as needed for structural repairs or modifications.
- Implement mold remediation techniques to eliminate mold growth and prevent future issues.
- Document restoration processes accurately for client records and insurance purposes.
- Follow safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain procedures and answer questions related to restoration work.
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, fire restoration, water damage repair, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and construction is advantageous.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Ability to work with various materials and perform tasks involving demolition or repair work.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously at all times.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, operate equipment, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel locally as needed.
