Role Description
This full-time hybrid role for a Tax Associate is based in San Diego, California, offering a mix of in-office and remote work flexibility. The Tax Associate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Daily tasks include performing tax research, analyzing financial information and assisting with tax planning strategies. Collaboration with team members and providing exceptional client service are integral to this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tax Compliance, Tax Preparation, and understanding of Tax Law
- Experience in Tax and Finance, with a strong foundation in accounting practices
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and proficiency in tax software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- Will consider degree from different field with 4 years experience in tax
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment
- Experience in a public accounting firm or similar tax-focused environment is advantageous
