What You Will Do
As the Quality Manager, you will oversee both quality assurance and quality control operations, utilizing your expertise to foster a culture of uncompromising quality.
QMS Leadership & Compliance
- Lead, maintain, and elevate the site Quality Management System (QMS) in strict alignment with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
- Ensure flawless compliance with documented information requirements, including document control, records retention, and revision management.
- Spearhead internal and external audit preparation, execution, and follow-up, ensuring absolute readiness and timely closure of findings.
- Develop, review, and approve robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality procedures.
Continuous Improvement & Data Analysis
- Transform data into actionable insights using statistical tools (Excel, Minitab) and perform Pareto analysis on defects, nonconformances, and yield data.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives utilizing structured methodologies such as Six Sigma and DMAIC.
- Present key quality metrics, risk assessments, and strategic improvement plans to senior leadership.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & CAPA Management
- Lead complex root cause investigations using methodologies like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, and fault tree analysis.
- Design, implement, and verify the effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to permanently resolve systemic nonconformances.
- Oversee the rapid investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
Supplier Quality & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Drive supplier quality initiatives, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issuing SCARs.
- Partner seamlessly with Engineering, Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve quality hurdles and support New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Direct the control and disposition of nonconforming materials and incoming inspections.
Team Leadership
- Supervise, mentor, and inspire a dedicated quality team.
- Provide ongoing training on quality standards, advanced inspection methods, and proactive problem-solving techniques.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or scientific discipline is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of progressive QA/QC experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment (chemical or related manufacturing experience is a strong plus).
- Technical Mastery: Deep, practical knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards and QMS implementation.
- Problem-Solving Prowess: Proven track record with CAPA, RCA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: High proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
- Leadership Core: Exceptional communication skills, a knack for cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to drive data-driven decision-making across the facility.
