About the Opportunity

Are you a driven leader with a passion for manufacturing excellence? We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Production Supervisor to join our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you will be the vital link between our production goals and the dedicated team on the floor.

We don't just manufacture products; we build careers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at empowering teams, and are obsessed with quality, safety, and continuous improvement, we want you to lead our shift to success.

Your Mission

As the Production Supervisor, you will direct and coordinate all daily operations on the production floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that production schedules are met efficiently, quality standards are rigorously upheld, and—above all—every team member returns home safely at the end of their shift.

Core Responsibilities

  • Champion Safety First: Cultivate a zero-incident culture. Enforce all OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conduct regular safety audits, and lead daily safety briefs.
  • Lead & Empower: Manage, train, and motivate a diverse team of machine operators, assemblers, and production staff. Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel valued and empowered to share ideas.
  • Drive Production Metrics: Oversee daily workflow to ensure production targets, yield numbers, and deadlines are met or exceeded. Adjust schedules and staffing as needed to overcome operational hurdles.
  • Ensure Exceptional Quality: Partner with the Quality Assurance team to monitor product standards. Investigate root causes of defects and implement corrective actions immediately.
  • Optimize Processes (Continuous Improvement): Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and streamline production processes.
  • Manage Resources: Track inventory levels, coordinate equipment maintenance to minimize downtime, and ensure your team has the tools and materials needed to succeed.
  • Administrative Excellence: Maintain accurate records of production data, employee timekeeping, performance reviews, and incident reports.

What You Bring to the Team (Qualifications)

  • Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 1–2 years in a direct leadership or supervisory role.
  • Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA standards, workplace safety protocols, and compliance.
  • Leadership Chops: Proven ability to resolve conflict, mentor staff, and build a high-performing, cohesive team.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational issues on the fly.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • (Preferred) Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • (Preferred) Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt).
  • (Preferred) Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus.
