Bluestem Dental Lakeside is adding a Licensed Dental Hygienist to our team. Bluestem Dental has two locations, our Lakeside office in Ortonville was built in 2019 and has a beautiful view of Big Stone Lake. We have multiple Doctors along with a well-established growing staff. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
- Ensure infection control standards are strictly followed through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments.
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state licensing requirements.
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting. New Grads are welcome!
- Proficiency in Curve Hero Dental Software for scheduling, documentation, and record management. Willing to teach our Software.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout procedures.

Pay: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
