We’re looking for a skilled Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to help design, maintain, secure, and optimize our IT environment. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving system performance, and supporting infrastructure that drives business success.
As a key member of the IT Infrastructure team, you’ll work across servers, networking, cloud platforms, endpoint management, and security technologies to ensure our systems remain reliable, scalable, and secure.
What You’ll Do
Infrastructure Management
- Design, deploy, maintain, and optimize server, storage, and network infrastructure.
- Manage Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services to support performance, availability, and business needs.
- Implement and maintain security and endpoint management solutions, including Microsoft Intune, Absolute, CrowdStrike, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks.
System Maintenance & Optimization
- Perform routine updates, patching, and maintenance across servers, network devices, and cloud services.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and maintain high availability and reliability.
- Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Project & Change Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure initiatives and technology projects.
- Assist with planning and executing infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that support business objectives.
Security & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with internal security policies and applicable industry standards.
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Continuously assess and strengthen security controls to protect organizational systems and data.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation, configurations, procedures, and change records using Confluence and the KACE help desk system.
- Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and infrastructure improvements.
End-User Support
- Manage assigned support tickets, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely solutions to meet end-user needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 6 years of experience in systems and infrastructure engineering or a related IT role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Windows Server, and Copilot.
- Experience with security and infrastructure platforms such as Absolute, CrowdStrike, Cisco Meraki, and Palo Alto Networks.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
What We’d Love to See
- Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CompTIA Network , or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience with endpoint configuration and management tools, including Microsoft Intune or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of scripting and automation tools, such as PowerShell or Python.
