Overview:
We are seeking an organized and solution-driven Project Manager with experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry to lead cross-functional projects within a fast-paced IT environment. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of project management experience, demonstrates strong communication and leadership skills, and is comfortable working with both business and technical stakeholders. Experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, Majesco, or similar insurance system platforms is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scoping, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting
- Partner with business, IT, QA, and vendor teams to execute technology and operational initiatives within P&C lines of business
- Manage project roadmaps, requirements, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
- Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies or structured Waterfall project plans, depending on the project needs
- Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests; communicate impacts and resolutions to leadership
- Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable development tasks
- Drive UAT planning, coordination, and execution to ensure systems meet business and compliance standards
- Prepare executive-level status updates, dashboards, and project documentation
- Support implementations, system enhancements, and platform integrations within the P&C ecosystem
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of experience managing technology-driven projects, ideally within the P&C insurance sector
- Proven experience working with cross-functional and technical teams (IT, QA, developers, business users, vendors)
- Familiarity with P&C insurance operations, claims, policy, billing, or underwriting workflows
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Hands-on experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, Majesco, or similar insurance administration systems
- PMP, CSM, or other recognized project management certifications
- Experience with SQL, JIRA, Smartsheet, or other tracking/reporting tools
