We are seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering. This is a high-impact role for a licensed engineer who’s ready to take ownership of technical excellence, grow a Denver-based team, and collaborate across disciplines within a dynamic and integrated design firm. As the senior-most MEP professional in the Denver office, you’ll be shaping project delivery, guiding junior staff, and collaborating closely with their architecture, civil, and structural teams.
What you'll do
- Lead MEP design and project management for commercial, residential, municipal, multi-family, and mixed-use projects
- Serve as the technical lead on MEP systems designs
- Oversee and review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
- Mentor and supervise PE's, EITs, and junior engineers
- Coordinate with architects and other in-house disciplines for integrated project delivery
- Contribute to QA/QC processes and the development of internal design standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
- PE license required (Colorado or ability to obtain quickly)
- 10 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong design portfolio
- Proficiency in MEP design software, primarily Revit
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Commitment to quality design, team mentorship, and client satisfaction
