Your Role
The Platform Operations team, that focuses on the design, build, and operation of our foundational tech stack. The Platform Engineer will report to the Director, Platform Engineering. In this role you will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and technologies in service of Stellarus product commercialization using GitOps principles.

Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement scalable, robust Azure cloud infrastructure and services to support application deployment and management, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track performance, identify issues, and optimize Azure cloud environments for efficiency and scalability.
- Accomplish all the above with an Infrastructure-as-Code, GitOps methodology, primarily with Terraform.
- Create automation and tools using languages such as Python or Go to streamline management, deployment, and scaling of Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that Azure cloud infrastructure and services adhere to security policies and compliance standards, implementing security best practices and conducting regular audits
- Work closely with development and security teams to align Azure cloud solutions with business needs and integrate them with existing workflows.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for Azure cloud infrastructure and services-related issues, working to resolve incidents quickly and efficiently.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure cloud infrastructure and services, including configurations, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding.
- Help to establish, operate and continuously improve within a GitOps framework, leveraging your expertise to accelerate capabilities and practices for the product, team, department, and our partners across the organization
Qualifications
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Requires 7 years of professional experience serving as a technical expert and thought leader in enterprise Platform development and operation.
- Strong hands-on experience managing cloud services in a heavily regulated, DevOps environment
- Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language (Python, Go, etc.) highly desired
- In depth knowledge of cloud hosting providers, including Microsoft Azure highly desired
- Experience working in an agile development environment is strongly desired
- Experience working remotely is strongly desired
