- The estimated pay range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 based on experience.
- Manage and implement quality control protocols throughout heavy civil and earthwork operations, from material testing to final inspections.
- Lead efforts to build a quality-focused culture that emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement on construction sites.
- Coordinate and document quality inspections, identify non-conformities, and execute corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Stay updated with current building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all projects.
- Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or in a similar role within heavy civil or earthwork construction.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, testing protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
- Demonstrated competency in managing quality documentation and quality management systems effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with relevant testing equipment and quality management software applicable to earthwork and civil engineering projects.
- Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional certification in quality management (ISO 9001) or construction quality assurance.
- Current understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks in civil construction.
