Company Overview:
Our client is a leading heavy civil and earthwork contractor dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects. We are seeking a Quality Control Manager to join their team permanently. In this hands-on leadership role, you will oversee quality assurance processes across active construction projects, ensuring compliance with all specifications and industry standards.

• The estimated pay range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000 based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and implement quality control protocols throughout heavy civil and earthwork operations, from material testing to final inspections.
• Lead efforts to build a quality-focused culture that emphasizes safety, compliance, and continuous improvement on construction sites.
• Coordinate and document quality inspections, identify non-conformities, and execute corrective actions as necessary.
• Collaborate effectively with site teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Stay updated with current building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance in all projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or in a similar role within heavy civil or earthwork construction.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering standards, testing protocols, and quality assurance procedures.
• Demonstrated competency in managing quality documentation and quality management systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency with relevant testing equipment and quality management software applicable to earthwork and civil engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in quality management (ISO 9001) or construction quality assurance.
• Current understanding of relevant building codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks in civil construction.
