In this role, you’ll be part of our Service call center, acting as the first point of contact for our customers—no cold calling required!
Call Center Agent Overview:
As a Call Center Agent, you'll handle incoming calls from customers who want to schedule service appointments, communicate outbound service reminders, address inquiries, handle complaints, and provide general maintenance information. You'll serve as the "voice of the dealership," delivering a professional image with each interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails
- Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively
- Recommend additional upcoming services to enhance customer satisfaction
- Identify and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary
- Provide service and appointment information to customers
- Utilize available resources to research necessary information
- Route calls to the appropriate departments as needed
- Document all call information in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Recognize and report trends in customer calls to management
- Follow up with customers as necessary
- Complete call logs and reports accurately
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in relevant computer software applications
- 1-3 years of experience in a call center or phone customer service environment
- Solid understanding of customer service practices and principles
- Excellent data entry and typing skills
- Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends (40 hours/week)
