What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at Blueprint Hires?
A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Project Accountant to help them provide exceptional accounting support to their project team at their Charlotte, NC office.
Your Day Includes
- Reviewing budgets, staffing, work plans, and fee structures
- Providing timely financial reports, budgets, and project forecasts to project managers and clients
- Preparing pre-billing reports for project managers' review
- Issuing invoices, purchase orders, and processing bills for consultants, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and manage general ledgers, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Ensuring steady cash flow by generating, auditing, and sending invoices promptly
- Updating contracts based on client requirements and reporting associated budget amendments
Must Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or similar field
- Proficiency in DelTek Vision
- 2-5 years of experience as a project accountant or similar role
