A long-established, family-owned mechanical contractor providing comprehensive in-house mechanical construction services for commercial projects across the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking aProject Manager to help them successfully deliver complex mechanical construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. In this role, you will lead project execution, manage field and office teams, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standard at their Oakland, CA office.
Your Day Include
- sManaging HVAC and plumbing construction projects, including contract review, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution
- .Leading Project Engineers, coordinating subcontractors and consultants, and conducting regular jobsite visits
- .Reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project documentation to mitigate risk and maintain progress
- .Monitoring project costs, cash flow, schedules, and milestones while proactively resolving issues and delays
- .Overseeing project closeout activities, including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, and final documentation

Must Hav
- esBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience considere
- d.5–10 years of project management experience in mechanical construction with a strong focus on plumbing and/or HVAC system
- s.Hands-on construction background with experience managing commercial, multifamily, high-rise, retirement community, airport, or similar large-scale projects. Experience with contractors such as ACCO, Southland Industries, Murray Company, Bay City Mechanical, or similar firms is highly value
