What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Architect position at Blueprint Hires?
A multi-disciplinary design firm is seeking a Senior Architect to help them design and deliver the critical infrastructure powering the digital economy. You will lead complex, high-availability data center projects, shaping scalable, resilient environments for hyper-scale, colocation, and enterprise clients at their Scottsdale, AZ location.
Your Day Includes
- Lead architectural design and documentation from concept through construction
- Develop Basis of Design documents, site analyses, and modular expansion plans
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams integrating power, cooling, and IT systems
- Manage BIM/Revit models, perform clash detection, and ensure design accuracy
- Oversee construction documentation, RFIs, and quality control processes
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and active Architect licensure
- 12 years of experience, focused on mission-critical or data center design
- Expertise in IBC, NFPA, TIA-942, and strong Revit/BIM coordination skills
