What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intermediate Designer position at Blueprint Hires?
A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking an Intermediate Designer to help them deliver high-quality building envelope design, BIM coordination, and technical documentation. You will contribute immediately to design development and documentation while supporting collaborative, model-based workflows at their Coppell, TX office.
Your Day Includes
- Developing SD and DD level drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
- Producing accurate construction documents and technical narratives
- Collaborating within client BIM models and coordinating linked files
- Incorporating design changes quickly while maintaining model integrity
- Supporting field investigations and building envelope assessments
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (or equivalent)
- 3–5 years of professional experience with 4000 production hours preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and strong AutoCAD drafting skills
- Strong understanding of BIM workflows, parametric families, and model coordination
