Pay: $20.00–$32.00 per hour, depending on experience
Location: Casper, WY
Additional Compensation: Per Diem and Production Bonuses may apply
Position Summary
As a Production Tubing Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, measuring, grading, and documenting production tubing to ensure it meets customer specifications and industry quality standards. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of oilfield tubular products.
Responsibilities
- Inspect production tubing for damage, wear, corrosion, and other defects.
- Measure tubing using precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Identify, classify, and grade tubing according to customer and industry specifications.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain detailed documentation.
- Tag, organize, and prepare inspected tubing for shipment or additional processing.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous tubing inspection or oilfield experience is preferred but not required.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions and customer specifications.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
