Veterinary Patient Care Supervisor

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a skilled Patient Care Supervisor with passion and the drive to help motivate, engage, and develop a team of veterinary professionals in our Emergency department.

Schedule: Day shifts, 3x12s, 7a-7p with rotating weekends

Pay: $24.00 - 35.00 / hour competitive shift differentials

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.00/hr. Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.00/hr. Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $4.50/hr. Shift Differential
  
  

As a Patient Care Supervisor, you will…

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge. 
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations. 
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings. 
• Organize training schedules for Patient Care staff. 
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek assistance in resolution.
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans. 
• Other related duties as assigned.
