Veterinary Assistant - Oncology

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Rockville, MD is hiring for a compassionate and skilled Oncology Veterinary Assistant!

Schedule: Weekdays, 4x10s

Pay: $21.25 - $31.40 / hour

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool.

As An Oncology Veterinary Assistant, You Will

• Assist the Technicians and Doctors monitoring patient during treatment.
• Set up appropriate materials for chemotherapy administration.
• Help restrain patients during appointments and treatment.
• Safely dispense, reconstitute, and administered SQ/IM chemotherapy agents.
• Properly wrap and shave for an IV catheter for chemotherapy infusion
• Help stock and clean appointment room.
