Unarmed Security Guard – Baltimore, MD

Job Summary
As a fast growing company we are constantly in search of new employees to serve and protect our communities Blueline Security Services is actively hiring professional, dependable, and highly observant Unarmed Security Guards to work at multiple  locations throughout Baltimore, MD. This position requires officers who can maintain a strong security presence, enforce site rules, and provide excellent communication with both personnel and Blueline management. Successful candidates must be reliable, able to follow instructions, and committed to ensuring a safe working environment. These sites require attentive guards who can respond quickly to potential issues, complete accurate documentation, and maintain professionalism at all times.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building entrances, exits, loading docks, and parking areas to ensure only authorized individuals access the property.

• Conduct regular foot patrols to deter theft, unauthorized activity, and safety hazards.

• Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation with accuracy and clarity.

• Provide customer service to  staff, contractors, and visitors while maintaining a professional and respectful demeanor.

• Report suspicious activity, safety concerns, policy violations, or emergencies immediately to supervisors and site management.

• Maintain an organized and visible presence that reflects the standards of Blueline Security Services.

• Follow all post orders, company policies, and emergency procedures.

• Use communication devices (phone or radio) to stay in contact with supervisors and dispatch as required.

• Support operations by managing crowd control, ensuring safe pedestrian flow, and helping maintain an orderly work environment.

Requirements

• Open and flexible availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays ).

• Reliable transportation to report to different locations throughout Baltimore.

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

• Strong observation skills, good judgment, and the ability to remain alert and focused during long periods of standing or patrolling.

• Must be professional in appearance and conduct at all times.

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Maryland security guard certification 

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and company expectations.
