This is a full-time, exempt position. The schedule may include weekdays, weekends, and holidays and is flexible to meet the needs of the business.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on approximately 915 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.

Essential Duties And Responsibilties
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and manage multiple residential design projects from conceptual development through construction.
- Develop and communicate creative, fully executed designs and detailed design packages.
- Attend and lead client design meetings to determine project goals, preferences, and budgets.
- Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and ensure design integrity is maintained throughout construction.
- Provide white glove service, custom furniture packages, window covering options, and curated wallpaper offerings.
- Create and update interior elevations, including detailed closet and cabinetry plans.
- Manage and maintain the Design Center and resource library.
- Hold and lead design selection meetings for new builds and custom home buyers.
- Assist clients in making selections that align with budgets and allowances, providing mood boards and presentations as needed.
- Input and maintain buyer selections in BuilderTrend and monitor updates from outside designers.
- Coordinate closely with the team to build and maintain a comprehensive cost/option catalog of selections offered.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure selections, change orders, and documents are processed and communicated properly.
- Track and manage excess inventory from past builds for future use.
- Attend construction meetings and serve as a liaison between design, sales, and construction teams.
- Support special projects across the property as needed.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and assist with training when appropriate.
- Input and manage design data and selections through BuilderTrend.
- Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Studio Designer, and Microsoft Office.

- 7-10 years of professional experience in residential interior design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with custom homes and full-scope residential design.
- Extensive knowledge of construction principles, materials, and residential detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, BuilderTrend, and Studio Designer.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to review and interpret construction documents, building plans, and codes.
- Self-starter with strong time management and the ability to manage shifting priorities.
- Familiarity with FF&E specifications, procurement, and vendor coordination.
- Ability to coordinate space planning, mood boards, and full design documentation independently.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
