Local Contract Nurse (RN or LPN)

Contract Length: 8-12 Weeks

Location: Local Applicants Only (Not a Travel Position)

Schedule: 8-Hour Shifts

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and clinically strong local RNs and LPNs for an 8-12 week contract assignment in our Skilled Nursing Facility. This role is ideal for nurses in the area looking for short-term work and competitive contract pay — without travel requirements.

The nurse will provide direct resident care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, facility policies, and state and federal regulations.

Local candidates within commuting distance will be prioritized. Travel stipends are not offered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care within scope of practice
• Monitor residents and document changes in condition (skin issues, infections, weight changes, etc.)
• Complete accurate charting and incident reports
• Follow medication administration and narcotic count procedures
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, and room changes
• Communicate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in physician rounds when required
• Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and clinical standards
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the practicing state
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Strong documentation and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
