Bluebird Care – Where you change lives
We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable Female Complex Care Support Worker to join our Care Expert Team in Mid & West Cornwall.
This is a full time, permanent role working across two parts of our children's service.
Most of your week will be spent as part of a dedicated 2:1 care team in the Tresillian, TR2 area, supporting a young person with complex care needs at home, in school and out in the community. Alongside this, you'll support other children and young people with complex or additional needs across Mid & West Cornwall.
Our children's services help children and young people feel safe, understood and cared for — at home and out in their community. That support means a great deal to the child or young person. It also gives families reassurance, consistency and peace of mind.
You'll need to be calm, patient and confident in care. You'll be attentive to body language and alternative communication, helping each young person feel safe, supported and understood.
Please note
Due to the personal care requirements of this role, this vacancy is open to female applicants only. This is considered to be an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010.
You must have previous care experience, a full UK driving licence, access to a reliable car and the right to work in the UK. Applications without previous care experience will not be successful.
We are unable to offer visa sponsorship. If you require sponsorship to work in the UK, your application will not be successful.
