Bluebird Care Mid & West Cornwall is looking for a Clinical Lead for our complex care service. You would be the senior clinical decision maker for a team supporting people with significant clinical needs in their own homes.

What you would be doing
You Are The Clinical Backbone Of The Service
- Carrying out clinical assessments and reviews with customers at home
- Writing, monitoring and developing care plans and risk assessments
- Being the person our Care Experts turn to for clinical guidance
- Assessing, signing off and reviewing staff clinical competencies
- Delivering training and growing the team's confidence in complex interventions
- Working alongside families, GPs, district nurses, therapists and commissioners
- Leading on clinical governance, safeguarding and CQC compliance
- Responding to clinical concerns with judgement and care
Essential
- Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse, or active HCPC registration as a Paramedic
- At least three years' post-registration clinical experience, from any setting
- Confident, autonomous clinical decision making
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Experience of complex care
- Experience of community or home-based care
- Experience of supervising, mentoring or leading a team
- Experience of competency assessment or teaching
