The Blue Window Bistro is an upscale, fast-paced restaurant that has been serving the Los Alamos community for over 40 years. We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, reliable individuals with a passion for excellent customer service and genuine hospitality.
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Duties:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and manage reservations
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of specials
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Collaborate with servers to ensure efficient service
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in guest relations or customer service preferred
- Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong phone etiquette skills
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Experience in the hotel or food service industry is advantageous
