Responsibilities

• Erect and install structural steel
• Connect steel beams, columns, joists, and decking
• Bolt-up and align structural steel members
• Perform structural welding as required
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
• Operate safely while working at heights
• Use rigging equipment and work around cranes
• Follow OSHA safety regulations and company safety procedures
• Work efficiently with crew members to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

• Experience as a Structural Ironworker or Structural Welder preferred
• Experience with structural steel erection, connecting, decking, or welding
• Ability to read construction blueprints
• Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred Certifications

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
• AWS Welding Certification
• NCCER (Preferred but not required)
• Rigging Certification
• Aerial Lift Certification
• Scissor Lift Certification

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday–Friday
• Weekend work available
• Overtime available

Pay

Competitive hourly pay based on experience.

Location

Projects throughout New Jersey and surrounding areas.
