Job Title: Experienced Pool Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Service Manager, Office Manager
Position Summary
The Experienced Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing residential and/or commercial pool and spa routes. This role includes routine maintenance, water testing, cleaning, and basic equipment care. Technicians may supervise a helper and, depending on experience, lead crews for pool openings and closings.
Responsibilities
- Perform water testing and chemical adjustments.
- Clean pools and spas (vacuuming, skimming, brushing, tile and waterline cleaning).
- Perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Lead or assist with pool openings and closings.
- Supervise helpers when assigned.
- Restock and maintain service vehicles.
- Assist with shop upkeep and organization.
- Gather property information and photos when requested.
- Complete Hazard Communication Program training. (will provide)
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- CPO Certification recommended (training provided).
- SP-2 License preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow instructions, communicate job updates, and recognize safety concerns.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching.
Work Environment
Seasonal work is primarily outdoors around pools and spas in various weather conditions, with some travel between job sites. While we avoid dangerous weather conditions, a maintenance technician is expected to work outdoors in the rain, sun and other normal seasonal weather. There is some dust and dirt present in equipment rooms as well as around the pool/spa. This is a seasonal position.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
