Night Shift Dredge Operator

Blue Water Industries, a growing aggregate producer, is currently seeking to fill a Night Shift Dredge Operator position at our Cypress Sand Mine in Davenport Florida. Dredge Operator Requirements

· Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the dredge.

· Perform a pre-shift inspection, keep coolant, lubricants, and oils at proper levels, and perform any other minor maintenance and repairs.

· Must be familiar with and adhere to service requirements, equipment and operator limitations, and safe operating procedures at all times.

· Must keep housekeeping inside and outside of equipment clean and neat at all times.

· Assist with housekeeping and maintenance duties at the mine on a routine basis.

· Must be willing to be task-trained on other mobile equipment and the processing plant.

· Performs other duties as directed by management.

Experience: Must have at least 6 months to 1 year of related experience.

Physical demands:

· Must be able to push, pull or lift 50 lbs. or more.

· Must be able to walk up and down stairs repeatedly.

· Must be able to climb into tight areas.

· Must have advanced mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with hydraulics, winches, and other tools is a plus.

· Must be able to communicate clearly.

· Must be able to bend down, crouch, and squat

· Must be able to walk the plant and perform repairs and clean-up when needed.

· Must be able to climb a 10-foot vertical ladder.

· Must be able to work in various weather conditions

· Must have the ability to work 10 hour shifts as needed.

· Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
