What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Fulfillment Team Leader position at Blue Vase Books LLC?
Our order fulfillment department is a crucial part of our company - it’s how we ship orders to our customers! We sell & ship out over 1,000 books each and every day from our facility here in Interlochen, Michigan.
We are seeking talented, creative, enthusiastic and motivated people who genuinely care about what they do. The Blue Vase Team has a confident and positive attitude while striving to meet production goals and assisting with the efficient operations of the company. Excellent attendance, a resourceful mindset and ability to multi-task is a must.
Our Order Fulfillment crew is responsible for efficiently and accurately picking, packing, and shipping all outgoing orders, general upkeep of the location as needed to facilitate efficiency, organization, and safety, as well as other general tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with the best interests of the company and customer in mind. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organized and an efficient multi-tasker. Additional necessary characteristics include:
- Quick reaction times to short deadlines
- Learning all aspects of the shipping department
- Able to lead the team
- Manager experience
- Aptitude and willingness to learn
- Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment, have the ability to multi-task and reflect a positive attitude towards challenging job requirements
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent Attendance
- Ability to lift, bend, squat, twist, and use step stools and/or rolling stairs as needed throughout shift

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
